In terms of exterior design, the AION i60 adopts the mainstream styling language of new energy vehicles. Its overall look is balanced and refined, blending elements from the Trumpchi premium series and AION’s pure electric lineup. The front features a typical closed-off EV grille, with the AION logo positioned above. The headlight cluster includes dual LED light sources, with daytime running lights on top and a full-width light strip that enhances visual width and emphasizes its EV identity.
Below the headlights, the vertical air channels are functional rather than decorative, helping optimize aerodynamics. Paired with a large smoked trapezoidal lower grille, they add a sporty touch without making the design feel heavy.
The AION i60 is available in six exterior colors: Warm Gold, Galaxy Blue, Polar White, Firefly Gray, Holographic Silver, and Night Shadow Black.
From the side, the vehicle maintains a stable, boxy silhouette. Blacked-out window trims create a floating roof effect. The dimensions are 4685 × 1876 × 1660 mm, with a wheelbase of 2775 mm, and all variants feature a five-seat layout.
Additionally, six “smart driving blue lights” are integrated into the body. It uses a 3R7V hardware setup (3 millimeter-wave radars + 7 cameras) and is equipped with GAC’s GSD intelligent driving assistance system, supporting highway navigation assistance (NDA), full-scenario smart parking, and valet parking.

The AION i60 is the first in its class to offer a dedicated mounting base for a driver-side phone holder and a magnetic dashboard panel for the front passenger. Multiple magnetic attachment points throughout the cabin allow flexible use of accessories such as tissue boxes and decorative items. It also features an 11-speaker ADiGO Sound system and various hooks and mounting points for added practicality.
The simplified roller-style steering wheel integrates most vehicle and infotainment controls, making it easy to learn and use. It also includes a heating function. Below the center screen are dual 50W wireless charging pads, along with a hollowed-out storage compartment and charging ports for everyday convenience.
The standard 14.6-inch infotainment display offers sharp visuals and smooth operation, with low blue light eye protection and a dedicated comfort mode reducing blue light by 30–40%. It runs the ADiGO SPACE 6.0 system, integrates the DeepSeek-R1 voice assistant for continuous voice recognition, and supports multi-screen interaction. The range-extended version uses GAC’s latest 1.5L ATK engine with a “volcano-type” combustion system and advanced AI energy management, including AI-based charging and regeneration. The range extender delivers up to 85 kW continuous power, ensuring consistent performance whether the battery is full or depleted.
It is paired with a 29.165 kWh LFP battery, offering a CLTC electric range of 210 km. With 3C fast charging, it can charge from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes. Combined range reaches up to 1,240 km with a full tank and full charge.
Energy efficiency is rated at 3.73 kWh per liter of fuel—meaning each liter of gasoline generates 3.73 kWh of electricity, which is competitive in its class. Official fuel consumption in a depleted state is 5.5 L/100 km, making it economical for families.
In real-world driving, the range-extended version performs confidently both in city traffic and on highways. Acceleration is responsive and smooth, with no lag when pressing the accelerator. Even when fully loaded, power delivery remains sufficient, with no noticeable drop in performance when the battery is low.
With its AI energy control platform, the system optimizes energy distribution based on real-time traffic conditions, improving efficiency and maintaining performance. Regenerative braking can be adjusted: in low mode, it mimics the coasting feel of a gasoline car, while in high mode, deceleration is smooth and controlled.
The suspension setup features a front MacPherson strut and rear multi-link independent system. It effectively absorbs road imperfections, delivering a smooth yet composed ride. At higher speeds and during cornering, the vehicle remains stable with minimal body roll. The CST comfort braking system reduces motion sickness by smoothing acceleration and deceleration.
