Geely Galaxy’s plug-in hybrid sedan, Geely Galaxy Star 8 is powered by Geely’s self-developed next-generation NordThor plug-in hybrid system, offering 60km and 130 km CLTC pure electric ranges, and is equipped with G-Pilot intelligent driving system. Popular design elements including hidden door handles, frameless windows, slender headlights, through-type taillights , and a fastback shape are present. The car runs on 19-inch rims.
Additionally, the lidar on the front roof combined with five millimeter-wave radars and 10 cameras supports the onboard G-Pilot (Qianli Haohan in Chinese) “map-based” advanced driving assistance solution that relies on high-definition maps. The system has multiple levels including H1, H3, H5, H7, and H9. The highest level H9 will offer urban and highway navigation on autopilot as well as handling over 300 parking assistance scenarios, claimed by Geely. The maximum obstacle avoidance speed can also reach 120 km/h.
The cockpit adopts a two-spoke flat-bottom screen, an instrument panel, a 25.6-inch AR-HUD, and a 15.4-inch central control screen, equipped with the Flyme Auto cockpit system, which can realize AI voice control interaction, integrated with DeepSeek’s model.
The internal 23-speaker Flyme Sound system includes two headrest speakers. Two 40W wireless charging pads for mobile phones are on the center console.
