Stelato S9 Officially Launched: Elegant and Imposing Appearance

Introduction

On August 6th, Stelato launched its first model, named “Stelato S9“. This model is also the first pure electric mid-large sedan under Stelato Automobile. Two configurations, Max and Ultra, are available, priced at 399,800 yuan and 449,800 yuan respectively. Stelato is a new brand created by Huawei and BAIC, featuring HarmonyOS Smart Mobility. The Stelato S9 is a flagship product equipped with the same HarmonyOS Smart Mobility system as the AITO M9. Let’s take a detailed look at its appearance, configuration, and other details.

Exterior Design

The appearance of the Stelato S9 adopts Huawei’s classic design, officially called the “Human Galaxy”. The front design features a through-type daytime running light, presenting a unique style that is consistent with Huawei’s family design—stable and imposing, yet youthful.

On the side, the Stelato S9’s sidelines adopt a grand and stable design. The rounded body lines paired with the through-type waistline design create a simple, grand, and fashionable style, avoiding complex structural designs. Detailed features include hidden door handles, multi-spoke chrome-plated wheels, intelligent sensors, and more.

The rear design is also simple, with through-type taillights and the English logo of Stelato S9, further highlighting its identity. The rear adopts a coupe-like design, providing a more sporty appearance.

Interior Features

Inside, the interior adopts a new design style with a classic new energy family design, especially the wrap-around design of the center console. It features a liquid crystal instrument panel, a floating 15.6-inch central control screen, and the HarmonyOS 4 smart cockpit system, offering significant advantages in smart driving. The configuration includes wireless phone charging, a 2080-watt Huawei SOUND audio system, a leather steering wheel with touch functions and heating, electronic exterior mirrors, streaming media interior mirrors, and nine airbags. It is well-equipped with both safety and comfort features.

Rear Passenger Comfort

As an executive sedan, the rear space is crucial. TheStelato S9’s rear seats are equipped with double zero-gravity seats, an onboard cold and warm box, and a large rear central armrest screen. The screen can adjust the air conditioning, seats, and control applications like video and music. Additionally, the rear roof offers laser projection and curtain functions. Small tables and MagLink interfaces are set behind the front seats, along with rear electric sunshades and a nap mode, providing a spacious and comfortable environment for rear passengers.

Smart Driving System

The smart driving system is a highlight of the Stelato S9, equipped with Huawei’s ADS 3.0 advanced smart driving system. It features lateral active safety assistance, pedal misapplication prevention, road adaptive AEB, eAES automatic emergency avoidance, car-to-car intelligent driving, valet parking, and more.

Power and Performance

In terms of power, the Stelato S9 offers two drive modes: single motor and dual motor. The single-motor rear-drive model (Max) has a maximum power of 230 kW; the dual-motor four-wheel-drive model (Ultra) has a front motor with a maximum power of 160 kW and a rear motor with a maximum power of 230 kW. The vehicle is also equipped with a Tulang chassis, providing energy-saving, comfort, sport, and personalized driving modes, ensuring a good driving experience and comfort.
